floor plan

I’m planning on getting a house tour up eventually and I wanted to include our house’s floor plan with it. But after we cleaned out the garage and found all of the sales brochures from our house, I figured I’d stick it up here sooner rather than later. Then after yesterday’s mini-video tour, I think today is a good day to share

Here is our house!
I actually saved the images from the builder’s website when it was still around and had them sitting on my computer. But, the floor plan was reversed, full of options, had a front entry garage, tiled floors we don’t have and a slightly different elevation. So it took me a little Photoshop work to make it look like our house actually does. And I had to make sure the new bedroom wall was represented!
Hopefully this will help everyone better understand what I am talking about when referencing rooms. I hope to someday give this a permanent home in an “About the House” section!

haha I owe everyone a closet post! I’m really disappointed with how boring it is! I donated SO MUCH this past move that, after tucking away out of season stuff, I actually have a half empty closet now! I’ve never had a under-stuffed closet! what do i dooo?!? haha

Yep, fireplace is in the family room. There is currently nothing in the living room. We want to use it sort of as an extension of the dining room for holidays and stick our Christmas tree in there. I’m not quite sure what to do in there furniture wise yet, because I don’t want one of those useless rooms of furniture that no one sits on.
Ahh and I just noticed that the bay window in the office is missing! My favorite part! Plus I didn’t put the french doors on the new sitting room. I’ll have to add some revisions for the future
Totally get the floor plan now! I love floor plans, kinda nerdy I know (: (what can I say…I’m an interior design major! Ha!) Looks like a very spacious and well-designed plan. So fun!
